This past weekend I went to Bloomington for Little 500. If you're not familiar with this bike race let me enlighten you. It has been called The Greatest College Weekend in America and has attracted famous attendees such as President Barack Obama in 2008. The race is broken into a women's race on Friday and the men's on Saturday. However the atmosphere and celebration that is little 500 starts the Sunday before. This year I went down and met up with 4 of my sorority sisters. While catching up and visiting our old haunts we discovered a fantastic little bar that none of us had been to. The House Bar is literally just that, a house that was turned into a charming little bar. Upon first glance you might not even notice it. Set off the street it doesn't look like much but House Bar is the perfect spot to catch up with old friends and kick back. The cozy rooms allow for an at home feel. They have friendly staff and even friendlier House Bar regulars. If you're in Bloomington and looking for something a little different I highly suggest you check out House Bar and order a beer from the local Cutter's Brewing Company.
